Maekok
River Village Resort is a modern Thai-style property
set 175 km north of Chiang Mai - on the outskirts
of the village of Ban Thaton. The resort is set
in landscaped gardens, and the accommodation is
provided in delightful family villas, that sleep
from 2 to 4, or in a pool side suites where to
2 units can connect to provide accommodation for
up to 6. The rooms have air-conditioning, and
11 channel satellite TV, large refrigerators,
direct dial telephones, and Balinese style loose
stone styled bathrooms. On the southern riverbank
on the outskirts of the village some 500 metres
down river from the main river - road bridge.
The Spice Garden – seats 108 in fan cooled river
side salas fitted with bamboo blinds. The Paddy
Fields – seats 60 Upstairs overlooking the river
and the Sala Tong Tung provides guest with a comfortable
lounge area which overlooks the river
