Diet
They feed on plants, seeds, insects
and small animals. |
Breeding
At breeding time, the male displays
and gathers a harem of females. He leads his mated females
to a shallow nest which he has prepared, and they all lay
their eggs in this one nest, making a clutch of up to 18
eggs, which the male incubates. |
