with subtle white spots, giving its body a yellowish
appearance. |
Description
The easy-going common monitor
is a very capable tree scaler and moderate swimmer;
although they prefer to stay close to water sources,
but they can be found in clear forests and hillsides,
far away from water sources. |

Diet
Chicken, bird, fish, frog, toad,
rat, both fresh and rotted. |
Breeding
Female lays eggs twice a year,
storing them in dug-outs or holes, in abundant quantity
and easy to hatch. |
